First guests in Madrid
My first guests to stay with me this year in Madrid arrived Monday night, and have already finished their stay; they're headed to the airport as I write. Who were they? I'll give you a hint: I didn't know these people a month ago.
It was the young Welsh couple I met during my two weeks HelpXing in Válor. My fellow olive pickers!
Last night we went out for cañas near my apartment -- I finally had people to go with in my neighborhood! They are now headed to France where they'll continue HelpXing.

Nope, it's a dog we found when we went for a walk on Christmas Day. We named her "perrita," which later changed to "princesa" after staying with us for a few days. So well behaved and cute! She slept with me many nights, until her owners finally returned from vacation to get her.
